My MacBook (medio 2009) has El Capitan 10.11.6.
#Office 2004 for mac el capitan mac os#
The HP site shows there are drivers available for thisprinter only up to mac OS 10. Now I want te re-install Office 365, but the latest version needs 10.12.0. So, i then went to the HP drivers and software downloads, where i can find my printer's download available (which i then could go over to a friend's house who has good internet, and download to her computer, then zipdrive it, then zip that file to my mac, then install it that way. I have tried this many times over and over, for many days!

I cannot add the printer back on from the apple menu's system preferences, probably because my internet connection is VERY solw and spotty.Īfter it tries to "downloading software update for HP Officejet 7612" for about 20-30 minutes, it finally gives up and shows the error message, that the network connection failed. To get the latest features and maintain the security, stability, compatibility, and performance of your Mac, it's important to keep your software up to date. And the same printer, ame USB cord.īut now, my mac won't seem to accept my printer! If your Mac isn't compatible with the latest macOS, you might still be able to upgrade to an earlier macOS, such as macOS Catalina, Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, or El Capitan. I recently misplaced all my Pac's files, and therefore had to get the mac store to re-install my OS. I never had a problem before, and always used the USB cord. I have Office 2004 version but is there anything I can do to still be able to access my docs. I have been struggling for days without success, trying to re-install my HP Officejet 7612 Printer onto my iMac. Window Office 2004 for Mac non-compatibility with OS X El Capitan Have installed OS X El Capitan on my Mac without realising this would prevent me accessing Microsoft Word for Mac docs.
